Why Choose a Stair Lift from Access?

Why Should I Go With Access?
Access Elevator provides you with over 100 years of home accessibility experience and we are a preferred partner with all of our manufacturers. All of our installers are Manufacturer Certified Technicians with years of experience installing chair lifts. We firmly believe in providing home equipment that is the safest and most reliable available. We have a strong passion for the work we do and it shows in our end products. We believe pricing should be fair for the market and we strive to keep it that way. The better question is, why would I use anyone else?
How Much Can I Expect To Pay For A Stair Lift?
New straight stair lifts range in price from $3,400 to $5,000 installed. Used straight stair lifts start at $2,000. Curved chair lifts start at $8,500 installed and can go up depending on options, stairway configuration and total length. We also have rental, rent to own and refurbished units to assist with those that need financial help.
Is There Any Warranty Included?
Yes, Access offers a 1-year labor warranty on all new installations as well as a lifetime warranty on the powertrain and rails of all new Bruno and Access BDD stairlifts purchased through us. Access offers a 6-month warranty on all used lifts.
Do Stairlifts Require Maintenance?
Stairlifts require minimal maintenance. Batteries will typically have to be replaced every 3-5 years, depending on usage, while most units require a small amount of grease to be applied to the gears annually. In rare cases, as is the case with all appliances, more major repairs may be needed. In addition to an industry-leading labor warranty, all Bruno and Access BDD lifts come with a lifetime warranty on parts. The best option is always to sign up for an annual maintenance plan. This way, one of our stairlift experts will look everything over to identify any potential issues that should be addressed before they become a problem.
Do I Need a Specific Type of Outlet?
Stairlifts can plug into any standard, 3-prong wall outlet. Stair Lifts run on batteries, for which reason they draw a very low current from your house. Although they do need to be plugged in at all times to maintain optimal battery health, they do not need dedicated, high-voltage, or high-amperage outlets. However, it is important that a stairlift's outlet is not on a switch.
What if The Stair Lift is at the Other End of the Stairs?
All of our stairlifts come with a remote control for every landing. This way, if the lift is at one end of the staircase and you are at the other, you can use the remote to call it to you. Additionally, remotes can be programmed to individual units. This way, if you have multiple stairlifts from the same manufacturer, you can decide whether it makes most sense for the remotes move all of your lifts at once or if they should be paired specifically to individual lifts.
