The Abilities Expo at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center brought together individuals, families, organizations, and industry professionals for a weekend focused on accessibility, inclusion, and independence. One of the event’s most inspiring highlights was the Runway of Dreams Fashion Show.
Presented in partnership with the Runway of Dreams Foundation, the fashion show showcased the growing impact of adaptive fashion and demonstrated how style, accessibility, and inclusion can come together in meaningful ways. The event featured incredible models with disabilities confidently walking the runway while wearing adaptive clothing designed to meet a wide variety of needs without sacrificing comfort, function, or style.
Attendees were treated to a high-energy experience filled with inspiring stories, innovative fashion, and a powerful message that fashion should be accessible to everyone. The runway featured adaptive designs from several well-known brands, including adidas, French Toast, G-III Apparel Group, Volto Santo, SOLACE Collective, and Sense-ational You.
The Runway of Dreams Fashion Show celebrated independence, self-expression, confidence, and inclusion. It highlighted the importance of creating products and opportunities that empower individuals of all abilities while helping to redefine what accessibility looks like in the fashion industry.
Events like these continue to raise awareness about the importance of adaptive products and services while showcasing the innovation taking place across many industries. The fashion show served as a reminder that accessibility and style can go hand in hand.
Access Elevator, Inc. is excited to share photos from this incredible event and the positive energy that filled the runway.
