Today, our Decatur team had the privilege of visiting Macon Resources, Inc. (MRI) in Decatur, Illinois. Our goal was to learn more about their impactful programs and explore opportunities to partner in supporting individuals in need across Central Illinois.
Joining the tour were Guy Williamson, Kristy Boyle, and Kendra Gilman, who got a firsthand look at the wide range of services MRI provides. From supporting children and families to helping adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges, MRI’s programs are making a real difference in the community.
Some of the highlights include:

Children’s Services: Early childhood support and family programs for children from birth to age 5.

Adult Services: Vocational training, residential support, and mental health services for adults.

Manufacturing Programs: Opportunities for individuals to engage in meaningful work, including production of specialty license plates and signs.
Our visit reinforced the importance of community partnerships in fostering inclusion, independence, and opportunity for everyone. We look forward to working with Macon Resources to help make a positive impact in Central Illinois.
