Access Elevator Connects with Community Partners at the 2026 ADILN Conference

Access Elevator, Inc. was proud to host a booth and attend the 2026 Wisconsin Aging, Disability and Independent Living Network (ADILN) Conference, held September 21–23 at Kalahari Resorts & Conferences in Wisconsin Dells The event brought together professionals who share a common goal: helping older adults and people with disabilities live with greater independence and access to support.

Learning Together to Support Our Communities

This year’s theme, “Mission: Possible,” focused on strengthening the work of aging and disability professionals through innovation and collaboration. The conference offered opportunities to learn together, explore best practices, and build connections across Wisconsin’s network of service providers. These connections help professionals share knowledge and discover resources that can benefit the people and families they serve.

For Access, participating in events like ADILN is an opportunity to be part of those conversations. Understanding the challenges people face at home helps us connect our community with practical accessibility solutions.

Sharing Options for Greater Independence at Home

At our booth, we shared information about solutions such as stair lifts, ramps, home elevators, wheelchair lifts, ceiling lifts, and accessible bathroom modifications. Each serves a different purpose, but they all support a shared goal: making everyday spaces easier to navigate.

For someone having difficulty using the stairs, a stair lift may help them continue accessing different levels of their home. A ramp can make entering and leaving the house easier, while bathroom modifications and ceiling lifts can support daily routines for individuals and caregivers.

Every home and situation is different. Conversations with community professionals help build awareness of the options available so families know where to begin when their needs change.

Building Connections That Matter

Accessibility starts with listening and grows through collaboration. Events like the ADILN Conference create opportunities for providers and community organizations to better understand one another’s services and work toward shared goals.

We appreciate everyone who stopped by our booth to connect with our team. It was a pleasure to be among professionals committed to helping people of all ages and abilities remain active in their homes and communities.
