This past weekend, Access Elevator, Inc. proudly participated in the Abilities Expo Chicago, held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. From June 20–22, 2025, the event brought together individuals, families, caregivers, and professionals from across the Midwest to explore the latest in mobility, accessibility, and independent living solutions.
The Abilities Expo is a nationally recognized event that celebrates and supports the disability community. Attendees experienced hands-on access to adaptive technologies, inclusive programs, and expert-led workshops focused on enhancing independence and improving quality of life. Access Elevator was honored to be part of this meaningful gathering.
At Booth #1017, our team had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of attendees, offering insight and guidance on a wide range of accessibility solutions, including: Stair Lifts, Wheelchair Ramps, Ceiling Lift Systems, Residential Elevators, Home Modifications And more!
One of the highlights of our weekend was partnering with SureHands, a leader in innovative patient lift and transfer systems. Together, we conducted live product demonstrations, showcasing how ceiling lifts and body support harnesses can restore dignity and reduce caregiver strain through safe and independent transfers.
From engaging conversations to hands-on experiences, the event was a tremendous success. We were inspired by the stories shared, the connections made, and the growing community dedicated to advancing accessibility for all.
