How Do I Know If A Stairlift Is Right For Me?
If stairs have become a challenge but you want to remain at home, a stair lift may be the right solution for you. By speaking with one of our accessibility specialists, we can learn about the mobility of the person who would be using the lift and find the right stair lift for their specific needs. Additionally, you can fill out the request information sheet and an accessibility specialist will contact you to answer your specific questions.
Which Stairlift Should I Get For My Home?

How Much Can I Expect To Pay For A Stairlift?

Are Financing Options Available?
We have rental, rent to own and refurbished units to assist with those that need financial help.
Do Stairlifts Require Maintenance?
Stairlifts require minimal maintenance. Batteries will typically have to be replaced every 3-5 years, depending on usage, while most units require a small amount of grease to be applied to the gears annually. In rare cases, as is the case with all appliances, more major repairs may be needed. In addition to an industry-leading labor warranty, all Bruno and Access BDD lifts come with a lifetime warranty on parts. The best option is always to sign up for an annual maintenance plan. This way, one of our stairlift experts will look everything over to identify any potential issues that should be addressed before they become a problem.
Is There Any Warranty Included?
Yes, Access offers a 1-year labor warranty on all new installations as well as a lifetime warranty on the powertrain and rails of all new Bruno and Access BDD stairlifts purchased through us. Access offers a 6-month warranty on all used lifts.
Do I Need to Keep my Stairlift Plugged In?
It is important that stairlifts remain plugged into a wall outlet at all times. This ensures the batteries have the longest life possible, and that they remain charged so the lift is ready to be used whenever it is needed.
What are the Electrical Requirements for a Stairlift's Outlet?
Stairlifts draw a very low electrical current. For this reason, they do not need dedicated or high-amperage outlets. However, it is important that a stairlift's outlet is not on a switch.
Can Multiple People Use the Same Stairlift?
All of our stairlifts come with a remote control for every landing. This way, if the lift is at one end of the staircase and you are at the other, you can use the remote to call it to you.
If I Have Multiple Stairlifts, Will the Remotes Move All of them at Once?
Remotes can be programmed to individual units, so that you can call one at a time without moving any other lifts you may have in the same building.
